We are delighted to announce the promotion of Iskra Garbachkova and Joel Day to Associate Director at Anderson Orr.
Both have been central to the fabric of the practice for many years – not only through the quality of their work, but through their leadership, generosity and commitment to those around them. Their promotions mark a significant milestone in their individual careers and in the continued growth of the practice.
Iskra’s thoughtful, people-focused approach to architecture – alongside her passion for sustainable, meaningful design – continues to have a lasting impact across our projects and studio culture. Her ability to lead with empathy and build strong relationships makes her an invaluable part of the team.
Joel’s energy, creativity and meticulous attention to detail have shaped a diverse and exciting body of work. A natural collaborator and problem-solver, he brings enthusiasm and rigour to every stage of the design process.
As Associate Directors, both will play a key role in shaping the future of AO – strengthening client relationships, supporting our teams, and driving forward our shared commitment to design excellence.
