In October 2025, Stephanie Abbott joined Anderson Orr as Finance Manager, and we’re pleased to share a little more about her journey with our network.
A University of Leicester graduate with a BSc (Hons) in Financial Economics, Steph went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Over the past 18 years, she has built a rich and varied career across several sectors — including student accommodation management, sustainable investment and asset management, and professional training and development — holding senior roles as both Finance Manager and Financial Controller.
Prior to joining AO, one of Steph’s proudest achievements was leading a full accounting system migration to an ERP platform, integrating it with an existing CRM and introducing automation across key processes. She took on this complex transformation shortly after returning from her first maternity leave — a challenge she embraced and delivered with lasting impact. Steph thrives within SMEs, where her ability to streamline systems and enhance financial processes can truly support organisational growth.
Outside the office, life is wonderfully full. Steph’s daughters — Emily (four) and Maisie (one) — take centre stage in family life, and alongside time with them, she enjoys keeping active through CrossFit, Reformer Pilates, and has recently taken up running as a new personal challenge. Steph and her fiancé, Chris, are currently planning their September 2027 wedding and, after celebrating this milestone, hope to move to a larger family home in the Banbury / North Oxford area.
We’re thrilled to have Steph as part of Anderson Orr. Her expertise, thoughtful leadership, and drive to continuously improve have already made a positive impact, and we look forward to the many ways she will help strengthen and support the practice as we continue to grow.
